Getting Started: How to Update Account Information

There is a lot of information that goes into your Account Profile—and as with any account, Sermonary give you the option to edit that information. Whether you need to change your email, update your Profile picture, edit your credit card info, or just choose a new nickname, changing your account info is a very quick process:

ACCOUNT PROFILE

Accessing your account information is super simple. In your Sermonary Dashboard, you’ll see your Profile picture located in the top right corner. Click the circle image, the select the “Account” option that appears in the dropdown menu. This will take you to your “My Account” page and display all the information regarding your account with Sermonary. Below, you’ll find images of the sections that you can update on your account page. Make sure that after you update any section, you scroll to the bottom of the page and press the Update Account button to save your changes!

BASIC INFO

Your Basic Info consist or your name, nickname, display name, email address, profile picture, and whether or not you’d like for your sermons to autosave. Once finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Update Account to save your Profile information.

PAYMENT SOURCES

Your Payment Sources will include all the credit cards you’d like to use to purchase Resources. You can add a card by selecting the Add New Card option.

After selecting the Add New Card button, this menu will appear. Simply fill this out with the information of the new card you are adding to your account, then press Add Card. The screen will then close, and you will need to scroll to the bottom of the page and press Update Account to save your card changes.

SECURITY

To change your password, you don’t need to know your old password—just type the new password you’d like to use twice, once in each space, and press the Update Account option located on the bottom of your page to save your new password.
